The Armory Art
Center presents a juried sculpture competition.
In conjunction
with the Armory Art Center’s 25th Anniversary
Celebration the Atelier at the Armory Art Center is pleased
to
announce a national juried sculpture competition.
The Armory Art
Center has been at the forefront of arts education in Palm
Beach County, Florida for 25 years in our
historic Art Deco themed Armory building. In keeping with
the spirit of the Art Deco style we are looking for bas relief
sculpture in this theme.
Requirements:
Type: Bas Relief
Style: Art Deco
Size: No larger than 12” x 12”
The winning sculpture
will be cast free of charge at our state
of the art bronze foundry. The artist will receive the original
casting (1) with the opportunity to have an additional (9)
of the limited edition (25) cast at a reduced rate.
The Winner will receive:
• $1,000 Prize
• 1 Polyurethane rubber production mold
• Complete foundry casting services
• 1 Bronze casting of winning design
• Reduced casting rate for an additional 9
(from limited edition of 25)
• Cast(s) can be sold in Armory Gallery Shop and at special
events
Deadline for submissions
is Friday, May 1, 2012.
Winner will be notified by May 15.
$25 per entry. Artists can submit up to 3 jpeg images each
